Why People Use Omnibell and How it Changes Their Lives?

There is a story behind each new beginning as unique and special as is each human being involved in the story…

The Wake-up Call (2011)

A very close relative passed with late stage cancer. It forced me to deeply re-evaluate many “What-s”, “If-s” and Why-s”, sending me on a quest to take control of my own health and fitness as well as my family’s:

- I studied hundreds of scientific articles, books and several workshops on the topics of health, nutrition, fitness and strength

- At 36 I started working out in earnest for the first time in my life. Within few short months I had become much stronger, fitter and healthier than in my early 20s. I had cleaned up my diet and almost immediately felt the difference.

- I had found a way to make time work for me rather than against me…

New-found Inspiration (2019)

I always believed in investing time and effort in what works for the body efficiently, without gimmicks, and despite its popularity, appearance or feel. No surprise, experimenting with old-school strength conditioning techniques and utilising functional strength implements which turned from strange fascination to one of my biggest passions

And then this happened out of the blue - I discovered this odd, cool looking object called mace bell and knew there and then - I wanted to train with it!

Money and Space-saving Solution

What I didn’t want was spending hundreds of pounds on maces of various weights to keep up with my progress. And I only had limited room in my small garage gym-space.

I thought “What if I could only get one mace that I’d simply add weight to as I progress?”

So I built my first adjustable mace bell, and immediately felt the reward of mastering the intuitive skill of training with this unforgiving tool, as well as its various conditioning and mobility benefits: it fixed a nagging shoulder restriction; significantly improved my grip strength, and my core stability under load.

Conquering that primal fear of swinging a long, heavy metal piece around my head and body.

At first I imagined how my hand-grip or other muscle fails and the mace head comes crushing down my spine. That never happened; I felt immense satisfaction from being able to control this tool in motion instead. This achievement was yet another practical confidence booster that translated into other areas too…

Thank you Omnibell for having found me as much as I have found you

  • Hi Emil, this may be a bit presumptuous of me but loving your products I was wondering if you ever thought of a steel club (probably a question you’ve been asked thousands of times.) Would a bottle neck weight be too expensive? I’m only asking because I want you to make one so I don’t have to buy one and import it, don’t judge me.
